Regulatory Licensing and Compliance
Bd10 operates under a valid gaming licence issued by the Malta Gaming Authority. The licence authorises Bd10 to conduct online wagering activities in accordance with Maltese law and MGA regulatory requirements. Licence reference: MGA/B2C/233/2013 (02/07/2013).
Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Identity Verification
Bd10 collects personal data to verify identity, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) obligations. The categories of information may include name, date of birth, country of citizenship, physical address, government-issued identification numbers, copies of identification documents, location data, device information, and IP address. KYC is conducted in accordance with applicable law and Bd10 internal policies. Where aggregate deposits exceed EUR 2,000 or a withdrawal is requested, full KYC verification is required in the manner described below.
KYC Documentation and Verification Steps
- Government-issued photo ID (with signature) to confirm identity; document validity and non-expiry considerations are assessed in determining acceptance.
- Selfie of the applicant holding the same ID to confirm identity consistency with the documentation provided.
- Proof of residence, such as a bank statement or utility bill, dated within the last three months, showing the same name as on the ID.
Documents submitted for KYC are reviewed by Bd10 within 24 hours of receipt. The outcome will be communicated to the applicant with any further information required or next steps indicated.
During the KYC process, a temporary status may apply. While in this status, the account may be restricted to a maximum aggregate deposit of EUR 500 and withdrawals are not permitted. The user remains able to access platform functionality subject to the limitations described in this section.
Full KYC Completion and Operational Limits Post-Verification
Upon successful completion of the KYC process, Bd10 may permit deposits up to EUR 2,000 per single transaction. Withdrawals are subject to regulatory and Bd10 internal checks, including algorithmic and manual reviews of recent activity and balance to ensure compliance with AML requirements. Transfers of funds directly between user accounts are prohibited at all times.
Anti-Money Laundering Controls and Monitoring
Bd10 maintains a risk-based AML program that monitors transactions for unusual or suspicious activity. The program includes ongoing verifications of user activity, enhanced due diligence for high-risk scenarios, and timely reporting to the competent authorities in accordance with applicable law. Bd10 will cooperate with regulatory investigations and comply with all mandatory reporting obligations.
Responsible Gaming and Self-Exclusion
Bd10 supports responsible gaming principles and provides self-exclusion mechanisms in line with regulatory requirements. Customers may request self-exclusion for defined periods or on a permanent basis. During a self-exclusion period, access to the account is restricted, and related marketing communications may be limited or suspended in accordance with the self-exclusion terms.
Data Protection, Privacy and Personal Information
Bd10 processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Data collected includes identifiers, contact information, identification documents, transaction data, device information, and IP addresses. Purposes for processing include identity verification, account management, security, compliance with legal obligations, and, where consent is provided, marketing communications. Personal data may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data protection regimes. Data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil legal and business obligations, after which it will be securely deleted or de-identified. Data subjects have rights to access, correct, delete (subject to legal constraints), and to lodge complaints with the relevant supervisory authority where applicable.
Security and Access Controls
Bd10 implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data and financial information. Users must maintain the confidentiality of login credentials, promptly log out on shared devices, and maintain device security. Bd10 employs encryption and access controls to protect transmissions and storage; no system is entirely immune from compromise, and users acknowledge this risk by using the platform.
Dispute Resolution and Regulatory Cooperation
Any disputes arising under AML and related policies shall be addressed through Bd10's internal dispute-resolution procedures and, where applicable, through the Malta Gaming Authority or other competent authorities. If the matter cannot be resolved through these channels, the parties may pursue remedies as permitted by law.
Policy Updates and Communication
Bd10 reserves the right to amend this AML and KYC Policy at any time. Changes take effect upon posting on the Bd10 platform. Users should review the policy periodically to stay informed of current practices.
